Is Kate Gosselin really that cold? The recent tabloids have said that Kate Gosselin gave her husband, Jon Gosselin, and contract that allowed him to cheat on her. There’s a huge question (especially among women who feel like this is a cold way to run a marriage) of whether this type of agreement actually exists.
If you watch their reality show, Jon Gosselin usually looks unhappy and irritated. As a matter of fact, he looks like a man who wants out, but that does not mean he wants to cheat on his wife. I’m tempted to believe that he is cheating on his wife, but I don’t believe Kate Gosselin is all gung ho about the relationships he has on the side. No woman likes to know the man who sleeps in the bed next to her has just come home from one of his trysts.
The acceptance of cheating men has become more prevalent in today’s society. Women claim to forgive, but it’s obvious they are in pain. Even with all the women’s movement and freedom from marriage and being tied down, women are still accepting men and their nasty, cheating habits just to stay married and not be alone. I believe the Kate Gosselin ordeal is not the result of an agreement like the media claims. I think she’s hurt and feels strapped. Losing their television reality show hurts their livelihood and lifestyle, so it makes sense she wants to keep it.
